Chocolate Chip Cookies

There is nothing better on a grey wet day than some afternoon baking. These Chocolate Chip Cookies will brighten any day. It is truly the best no fuss cookie recipe, which gives great results each time!

INGREDIENTS

200g Butter

350g Soft Brown Sugar

1 Large Egg

250g Plain Flour

1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1 Teaspoon Baking Powder

100g Chocolate Chips

METHOD

Preheat your oven to 170°C.

Soften the butter in the microwave for a few seconds.

Add the softened butter, soft brown sugar, plain flour, egg, vanilla extract and baking powder to a large bowl and mix together to form the dough.

Once the dough is formed add your chocolate chips and mix together.

Take approximately a tablespoon of the dough, roll it into a ball.

Place the ball on a pre lined baking tray and press it down slightly.

Repeat until the dough is used up, leaving a decent space between each cookie.

Put the tray in the oven for approximately 10-12 minutes.

Leave to cool slightly on the tray before moving on to a baking rack to fully cool.
