Crispy Battered Courgettes
These Crispy Battered Courgettes are a wonderful side dish or snack. Battered in a mixture of gram flour and cornflour they taste amazing fresh from the fryer.
INGREDIENTS
2 Courgettes
3 Tablespoons Gram Flour
1 Tablespoon Cornflour
Water
METHOD
Add the gram flour and cornflour in a small bowl, slowly incorporate some water until it forms a cream like texture.
Finely slice two courgettes, add them into the batter and make sure each slice is well coated.
Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan.
Put the battered courgettes into the oil in batches.
Fry for a few minutes on each side, make sure to keep an eye on the pan to not burn the courgettes.
Bring the courgettes out onto a plate lined with some kitchen roll, top with some salt flakes and enjoy!
