Honey Roast Parsnips

Christmas Dinner Part 3: If you’re looking for a tasty way to serve parsnips as part of your Christmas Dinner then I would definitely try these Honey Roast Parsnips. Such a simple addition to the meal but they bring great flavour!

INGREDIENTS

3 Parsnips

50g Butter

3 Sprigs of Fresh Rosemary

2 Teaspoons Thyme

2 Garlic Cloves

50g Oil

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 200°C.

Peel the parsnips, cut the top and tail off each parsnips then cut lengthways in half.

Place the parsnips in a roasting dish.

In a small pan add the butter, oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt and pepper. Put the pan over a low heat and stir until the butter is melted.

Pour the butter, oil and herbs mixture over the parsnips. Cover the roasting tin with tin foil and place in the oven for approximately 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes take the tin foil off the parsnips and place back into the oven for a further 10 minutes.

Enjoy!
