Cheats Pizza

So as you may already know today is National Pizza Day! As it’s fallen on a Tuesday I thought I’d share my quick and easy way to have pizza on a work night with very little preparation with these Cheats Pizzas.

The key to these pizzas are store bought garlic flatbreads, they are quick to cook and give an amazing taste for the base when the garlic butter melts into the tomato puree on top. From there they can be adapted to your taste, below I have a simple pepperoni and a vegetarian option too. Honestly you have to try these!

INGREDIENTS

For the Pepperoni:

1 Garlic Flatbread

3 Tablespoons of Tomato Puree

2 Handfuls of Grated Vegan Cheese

8 Slices of Pepperoni

For the Vegetarian:

1 Garlic Flatbread

3 Tablespoons of Tomato Puree

2 Handfuls of Grated Mozzarella

1 Salad Tomato

2 Tablespoons Sweetcorn

1 Green Onion

METHOD

For both pizzas first preheat your oven to 200C.

Take the garlic flatbreads out of the packaging and spread the tomato puree over the garlic butter with a knife.

For the pepperoni pizza next sprinkle over your grated vegan cheese (I used Violife Original Grated). Then place your pepperoni on the top of the pizza.

For the vegetarian pizza, sprinkle a handful of cheese over the tomato puree. then Finely slice your green onion and place it on the pizza with the sweetcorn. Sprinkle over the second handful of mozzarella. Finely slice your tomato and layer the slices on top of the cheese.

Pop the pizzas in the oven for approximately 10 minutes or until the cheese melts and the edges brown.

Slice up and enjoy!
